SiteRev ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Thriving Ventures LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website feedback platform at siterev.io and any related services.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, and account credentials when you register for an account. When you use SiteRev to collect feedback on websites, we also collect the feedback content, screenshots, page URLs, and metadata such as browser type, viewport size, and operating system.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit our platform, including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and understand how you use our platform.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services. This includes processing your feedback submissions, generating AI powered website reviews, sending email notifications and invitations, managing your account and subscriptions, and communicating with you about updates or changes to our service.

We may also use aggregated, anonymized data to analyze usage trends and improve SiteRev's features and performance.

AI Powered Features

SiteRev uses artificial intelligence to analyze website screenshots and generate design recommendations. When you use our AI Review feature, screenshots of the scanned pages are temporarily processed by AI services. We do not use your website content or screenshots to train AI models. Screenshots are stored in our secure infrastructure and subject to our data retention policies.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with service providers who assist in operating our platform (such as email delivery, hosting, and payment processing), but only to the extent necessary for them to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

When you invite clients or team members to a project, their name and email address are stored in connection with that project to facilitate the feedback process.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers managed by our hosting providers. We use industry standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encrypted storage, and access controls to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Feedback data, screenshots, and project information are retained as long as the associated project exists. When you delete a project, all associated feedback, pins, comments, and screenshots are permanently deleted. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights

You may access, update, or delete your personal information through your account settings. You may also request a copy of the data we hold about you by contacting us at [email protected]. If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. These cookies are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled. We also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how visitors interact with our site, and advertising cookies (Google Ads) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.

When you first visit our site, you will see a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or reject non essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer of any page. Analytics and advertising cookies are only loaded after you provide consent.

For California residents: you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information. Our use of advertising cookies for campaign measurement may be considered "sharing" under the CPRA. You can opt out at any time through our cookie settings.
